Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Metal Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in fabrication, welding, and reading blueprints, with the ability to work on complex projects that require precision and technical expertise. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to high-quality metalwork, utilizing fabrication techniques and tools.

Responsibilities
• Interpret and analyze blueprints, and technical drawings to determine fabrication specifications.
• Operate various power tools and hand tools for cutting, shaping, and assembling metal components.
• Perform TIG welding to join metal parts according to industry standards.
• Use calipers, micrometers, and other measurement tools to ensure precise dimensions and tolerances.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and OSHA standards.
• Collaborate with team members on fabrication projects involving machining, assembly, or installation tasks.
• Assist with the setup and operation of machinery such as forklifts or cranes when necessary.

Qualifications
• Proven metal fabrication experience is a requirement.
• Proficiency in TIG welding, operation of lathe, milling machine, drilling and tapping machine and welding techniques.
• Experience with blueprint reading and schematic interpretation essential.
• Mechanical knowledge of fabrication processes.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations relevant to measurements and material estimations.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work safely in a construction or manufacturing environment using safety equipment. This position is ideal for candidates passionate about precision metalwork and eager to contribute their technical skills within a collaborative team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
