Graver Technologies is an Industrial Filter Element and Filter Housing (Vessel) Manufacturer located in Honeoye Falls, NY and a member of The Marmon Group (a Berkshire Hathaway Company), an international corporation with more than $8 billion in annual sales. We are seeking 1st Shift Welder to work in our Vessel Shop to support the manufacture of High-Pressure Vessels & Filter Housings.
• *1st Shift Hours: 6:00AM-2:30PM (Monday-Friday) **

The wage range for this role is $27-31/hour, based on experience and the results of a weld test.

Summary: The welder is capable of performing a variety of welding functions. The individual should be familiar with and capable of using various types of welding equipment. A welder is also required to perform other miscellaneous tasks, as supervision deems necessary.

Responsibilities:
• Understand and follow all safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Weld and document production of products.
• Ability to Read and interpret blueprints and machine drawings to determine specific welding requirements.
• Welds in flat, horizontal, vertical or overhead positions.
• Be able to move parts in and move finished product out of welding area.
• Perform quality checks on finished goods to ensure products meet all specifications.
• Complete all required documentation that relate to product produced.
• Document and report raw material consumption for all finished product.
• Communicate any quality issues to appropriate personnel. Provide the data necessary to help properly disposition nonconforming material.
• Ensure all operations conform to our ISO 9001:2015 standards.

Job Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED.
• ASME Code welding certification preferred.
• Minimum of two to five years’ experience working as a welder.
• Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to use various measuring instruments.
• Ability to perform basic math functions.
